Founded in 1076 Quoc Tu Giam was established within a temple to educate Vietnam's royalty, mandarins and members of the elite. The university functioned for an incredible 700 years and its gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s past.

In the morning leave Hanoi for Ha Long Bay with your driver and guide. Upon arrival, say good bye to your guide and then board a charming boat and begin your exploration of magical Halong Bay, one of Southeast Asia’s premier tourist destinations. An excellent, fresh seafood lunch and dinner will be served on the boat. Overnight onboard the very comfortable and charming boat.      

You are advised to set your alarm clock to enjoy a spectacular dawn over the bay. After a morning bathe and breakfast on board you will continue your cruise to explore the bay. Saying goodbye to the breathtaking beauty of limestone pillars pulling out of Halong Bay. Then head back to Hanoi Airport.

At 11:15am, you will enjoy a joining trip exploring Cu Chi Tunnels with totally new experiences: accessing into Cu Chi by boat instead of car, exploring local life outside Saigon. Embark on your speed boat from Ho Chi Minh City’s pier; your English-speaking guide will introduce you to life along the banks of the Saigon River as your boat gracefully slips through knots of floating water hyacinths on this scenic one-hour boat trip. A traditional Vietnamese lunch of local specialties like lemongrass chicken and caramelized clay pot pork will be served before your visit to the tunnels. After a short documentary, your guide will lead you through the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, dug by resourceful guerrilla fighters to provide communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters during numerous conflicts. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Our tour guide and drivers will pick you up at the hotel by Old Vespa - a kind of vehicle in Vietnam. Each driver will take responsibility for each tourist. After a brief instruction including wearing helmet to keep safe, you will start your half day trip around Mekong Delta by old vespa. 

We will weave through many small winding village paths of Ho Chi Minh City, head towards Can Giuoc Pier. Then we move to the opposite river bank to visit Can Giuoc local market where you can choose and buy some fresh fruits of tropical regions such as mangoes, banana, watermelons, oranges, etc.

Next, we continue traveling on Vespa to Nha Be, where your tour guide will introduce you daily lifestyle, culture and history of people in Mekong Delta. A visit to Cao Dai Temple and traditional workshops producing cookies and candies, rice wine will end your day tour in Mekong Delta by old Vespa. 

Afterwards, lunch will be served with local specialties at Nha Be. You can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surroundings. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City on the Vespa.
